Jonathan Davis: "I hope Durst isn't an asshole like he was"

In an interview with Pulse Radio, Korn frontman Jonathan Davis has commented on the reformation of his old proteges, Limp Bizkit.

"I just hope Fred just isn't an asshole like he usually is," said Davis.

Back in the mid '90s, Davis gave a fledgling Limp Bizkit a major break by taking them out on tour with Korn. However, as the '90s turned into the '00s and nu-metal exploded, the two frontmen fell out.

"We'll see what happens," Davis continued. "Hopefully Fred's got it together, 'cause there was one time when Fred was a really cool guy.

"The fame hit and went to his head. So I miss the old Fred," he added. "He was my buddy. So maybe he's humbled now and if he's like that then I'd definitely hang with him and be friends with him again."

Korn and Limp Bizkit will both play the Kerrang!-sponsored Download festival which takes place at Donington Park on June 12, 13 and 14. Tickets for Download are on sale now from www.aloud.com.
